Pastor Brian Page
Pastor Brian E. Page was born to Jozette and Earl Page on May 12, 1972. He is a high school graduate
of Omaha Central High School, and has taken several College courses.
Through the teaching and preaching of the late Rev. Horace G. McMillon, he was taught that Jesus
Christ must be the Center of your life and he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was
baptized in 1983 at the Pleasant Green Baptist Church. Under the leadership of Pastor Wayne Banks
Sr. He most recently held the position of Youth Pastor at Pleasant Green Baptist Church and served as
the Sunday School Superintendent. Pastor Page served as a Deacon for 3 years prior to accepting his
call to preach the Gospel in December 2003. He preached his first sermon in February 2004 and was
ordained in October 2010.
Pastor Page currently serves as 2nd Vice President of the New Era Baptist State Convention of NE Inc.,
Acting State Youth Director of the New Era Baptist State Congress of Christian Education and the
Secretary of the Baptist Pastors Ministers Conference. He has held the role of Youth Facilitator in the
New Era Baptist State Congress of Christian Education.
Pastor Page served as Interim Pastor of the Greater New Hope Baptist Church in 2013 for 4 months
and was called to lead Greater New Hope Baptist Church as their Pastor in April 2015.
Pastor Page currently works for a Regional Bank as a CRA Mortgage Loan Officer. Pastor Page married
the former Cali Mischo on July 23, 1994 and they have been blessed with 5 children; Alexis, Nate,
Jakson Mia, Lauryn and 2 grandchildren, Quincy(5) and Kendall (5 months).
In his spare time, Pastor Page enjoys spending time with his family and coaching youth basketball. One
of his favorite scriptures is Philippians 4:13 that says “I can do all things through Christ which
strengthens me”

Reverend Jesse J. Isom
Minister Justin Payne
Rev. Jesse J. Isom is a native to Oxford, Mississippi. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at a
young age. He acknowledged his call to Gospel Ministry and preached his first sermon on March 24, 1968
at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church, Omaha, Nebraska under the pastorate of the Rev. James E. Kelly
and was licensed to preach the Gospel. Rev. Isom was ordained and set apart to the works of the Gospel
April 12, 1970.
Rev. Isom received a Certificate in Christian Training and Diploma in Theology from the Extension Dept. of
the American Baptist Theological Seminary, Nashville, Tennessee, and also attended Grace Univ., Omaha, NE.
Rev. Isom’s first assignment was assistant to Rev. James Kelly, Greater New Hope Baptist Church, and later
became associate minister at the Pilgrim Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. William L. Blake.
Rev. Isom’s first pastoral assignment began October 1977 when he was called to the Tabernacle Baptist Church
in Council Bluffs, Iowa where he served for 37 years. After his retirement September 29, 2013, he shortly
thereafter united with Pleasant Green Baptist Church where the Rev. Wayne J. Banks is the pastor.
Rev. Isom is well known in the community and surrounding areas and has served and continues to serve on
various committes and organizations. He has served as third vice president of New Era Baptist State Unified
Convention and Congress of Nebraska, Inc., Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance, Television Ministry and
numerous others.
The youngest of Pleasant Green clergy, Minister Justin Payne, affectionately called
"Minister Jay," accepted his calling to preach in the summer of 2012 and preached his
initial sermon in November of 2012. Minister Jay is extremely passionate about his calling,
and he desires to utilize all of the gifts that have been given to him. An avid lover of music
and drama, Minister Jay is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Voice Performance degree
from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He plans to graduate in 2016 with his degree
and immediately study music overseas in Germany. Philippians 4:13 states,
"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
Reverend Monroe Relford III
Reverend Monroe Relford III was born in Omaha, NE, where he graduated from Omaha South High. He is
a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving eight years as an aircraft maintenance technician during
the Viet Nam Era, including a tour in South Korea. His professional career has been in sales and
management in the Industrial Power Transmission, Fluid Power and HVAC industries. He studied
Communications at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Reverend Relford accepted his call to preach in 1994, and was ordained by the Missionary Baptist
Church in Little Rock, AR in 1995. His calling from God is to do the work of an evangelist, and has
preached the gospel in the streets of Little Rock, in men’s prisons, community corrections units, juvenile
detention facilities, as well as churches and various venues for over 20 years.
He has served as Associate Pastor at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Little Rock, also serving as ministry
leader of the Prison, Outreach, and Marriage Ministries. While at Liberty Hill, he directed Vacation Bible
School and taught Sunday School and other Christian Education classes. He has received numerous
certifications from the Arkansas Congress of Christian Education and the Union District Congress of
Christian Education. He is the proud father of three daughters and four grandchildren. He spends his
spare time enjoying travel, reading, and watching sports and movies.
Minister Terry Scales
Minister Terry L. Scales was born to Dorothy and Garland Scales on October 9, 1959. He
served 25 years in the United States Army, from August
1988, and retired December 2003, as Master Sergeant (E8), received Meritorious Service
Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Superior Unit Award,
Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National
Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Armed Forces
Reserve Medal Noncommissioned Officer’s Professional Development Ribbon, to name only
a few accomplishments during his military career. He
served as a Logistician for most of his career, in Panama, Field Medical Training Site,
Warehouse NCOIC, with Army, Army Reserve, and National
Guard working as one team. NCOIC for the 1st Army Readiness Unit, and NCOIC of Logistic
Operation Center in Arlington VA. Retired MSG Terry
Scales received his Bachelor of Science from National Louis University in August 2000,
Associate of Science from Vincennes University in December
1997, and a High School Graduate of Omaha North High School in May 1978.
Years ago, Minister Scales learned that Jesus Christ must be the center of his life, he
accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was
baptized in 1974 at the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, Omaha, NE. Minister Scales
served as a Deacon for over 4years, at both New Season
Christian Center, Anchorage, Alaska, and Greater New Hope Baptist Church. Also, served
as the Vice Chair of the Layman’s with New Era Baptist
State Convention Inc. under the leadership of Pastor Brian E. Page, he accepted his call to
exhort the Gospel in January 2016. He preached his
first sermon in July 2016. Minister Scales served as Associate Minister for Greater New
Hope Baptist Church in 2016 for one year and currently
serves as an Associate Minister, Sunday School Teacher, and Assistant Sunday School
Superintendent at Pleasant Green Baptist Church, Pastor,
Brian E. Page.
Minister Scales is currently Executive Assistance to the President of the New Era Baptist
State Convention of NE Inc. He has held the role of
hosting the New Era Baptist State Convention Inc.’s television show “Invisible Hands.”
Minister Scales currently works for Veterans Medical
Center as a Program Support Assistant. Minister Scales married the apple of his eye D.
Taylor Scales on April 10, 2004, and together they are
blessed with 4 children; Terri, Halston, Jeffrey, Stetson and 7 grandchildren, LaShaia (16),
Troy (14), Harmoni (12), Brielle (10), Breann (10),
LaMarcus (3), and LaVar (2 mos.). Furthermore, Minister Scales is a devoted son and
servant to his senior mother, Dorothy Scales. In his spare
time, Minister Scales enjoys spending time with his family and developing “Meaningful Media
Ministries” TV broadcast “Invisible Hands” on KPAO
and seeking out and interviewing those that are doing “great things” to increase the Kingdom
of God. One of his favorite scriptures is
Philippians 4:19 that says, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in
glory by Christ Jesus
